This iteration of coffee from the Hambela estate in Guji is an elegant, clean washed coffee with notes of sweet tea, hibiscus, chamomile, honeydew melon, pear and plum. Hambela alaka is a subtle coffee, on the soft side, but so very sweet and delicious.

Sulladjah is our first direct trade coffee, sourced from Abana farms in Limmu, Ethiopia near the village of Gera. The Omran family began developing a 300 hectare plot of land in 2009 for coffee production with an eye towards environmental sustainability and social impact. All coffees are Single Origin, Shade Grown, High Elevation with proceeds going to support medical projects such as cataract and dental surgeries for the nearby 1500 person village of Gera. Sulladjah is a beautiful and complex coffee with notes of strawberry, hibiscus and finishing with honey sweetness.

Each bag of Forged Coffee comes with 1 packet of Third Wave Water, which can be added to one gallon of distilled or reverse-osmosis water to create optimum coffee brewing water, greatly increasing the flavor of your brew.
